Last updated: March 13, 2026
1. About the Service
TypingTube (hereinafter referred to as "the Service") is a typing practice service using YouTube videos. The Service is operated using YouTube API Services.
2. YouTube API Services Terms of Service
The Service uses YouTube API Services. By using the Service, you are deemed to have agreed to the YouTube Terms of Service and the YouTube API Services Terms of Service.
3. Accounts
The Service allows account registration via email address or login ID. Guest login does not require account registration, but some features are restricted.
Users are responsible for keeping their account information accurate and not sharing it with third parties.
4. Content
Videos used in the Service are distributed on YouTube, and their copyrights belong to their respective rights holders.
Typing data is created and submitted by users, published on the Service, and may be modified or edited by other users.
Submitted data may be deleted or edited without prior notice due to operational reasons or requests from rights holders.
5. Prohibited Activities
- Harassment or nuisance behavior toward other users
- Fraudulent score manipulation or cheating
- Using browser extensions, automation tools, scripts, macros, or similar means to use the Service (only manual operation is permitted for all features, including typing play, battles, and content creation)
- Actions that interfere with the operation of the Service
- Actions that violate laws and regulations
- Unauthorized reproduction or mass scraping of typing data
- Any other actions deemed inappropriate by the operator
6. Chat Rules
The following rules apply to chats throughout this service, including battle and live event lobbies.
6-1. Prohibited Actions
- Abusive language, slander, discriminatory remarks, or threats
- Spamming (repeatedly posting the same message or meaningless strings)
- Disclosing, requesting, or exchanging personal information or contact details
- Sexual or violent content
- Directing users to external sites, advertising, solicitation, or fraud
- Using the service for dating purposes
- Discussions about politics or religion
- Impersonation (pretending to be other users or the operator)
6-2. Automated Moderation
When a battle room chat report is filed, an automated AI judgment ("Shinpan-kun") is performed. AI judgments serve as reference information, and final actions may be taken by the operator.
6-3. Penalties
If a violation in the battle room chat is confirmed, the following penalties may be imposed.
- Warning: A caution for minor violations
- Chat restriction (24 hours): For moderate violations
- Battle restriction (72 hours): For severe violations
- Room removal: If a violation is confirmed, the user will be kicked from the room and cannot re-enter
If penalties accumulate within a short period (3 or more within the last 24 hours), the battle feature will be temporarily restricted.
6-4. Prohibition of False Reports
False reports (malicious reports) against users who have not violated any rules are prohibited. If false reporting is confirmed, the reporter themselves will be subject to penalties.
7. User-Created Content (Pixel Art)
Users can create pixel art and use it as reactions displayed to other users during live events and similar activities. Since created pixel art becomes content viewable by other users, the following rules apply.
7-1. Prohibited Content
- Sexual or obscene content
- Violent or graphic content
- Discriminatory or insulting content
- Content containing personal information or contact details
- Spam purposes (mass creation of identical or similar pixel art)
- Creation or submission using browser extensions, automation tools, scripts, etc. (only manual creation is permitted)
- Any other content deemed inappropriate by the operator
Submitting pixel art inspired by existing characters or illustrations is permitted, but please take care not to infringe on third-party rights. If a claim is made by a rights holder, the operator may delete or hide the content. The submitter shall bear responsibility for any disputes with third parties arising from their submissions.
7-2. Reporting and Moderation
Users can report inappropriate pixel art. Upon receiving a report, the operator will review the content and, if a violation is confirmed, will take action to hide (ban) the content.
7-3. Penalties
If a violation is confirmed, the following actions may be taken.
- Content hidden: The pixel art in question will no longer be displayed during live events, etc.
- Creation feature restriction: If violations are repeated, the creation of new pixel art will be restricted
- Account restriction: For severe or malicious violations, the entire account may be restricted
7-4. License and Use of Rights
By submitting pixel art, the user is deemed to have agreed to the following.
- Granting the Service and its operator a royalty-free, unrestricted (in terms of period and region) right to use (including reproduction, display, modification, and distribution) the submitted pixel art for the purposes of operating, promoting, and marketing the Service
- Acknowledging that submitted pixel art may appear in third-party recordings, streams, screenshots, etc. through live events, and agreeing not to assert rights or request removal in such cases
- Since submitted pixel art is used by other users for reactions and similar purposes, deletion at the submitter's request is not possible. However, in cases of unavoidable circumstances, individual requests may be handled by contacting the operator
The operator may delete or hide content without prior notice due to terms violations or requests from rights holders.
8. Score and Ranking Data
Typing performance and ranking data are made public on the Service. If fraud is confirmed, the operator may delete scores or restrict accounts.
9. Service Changes and Termination
The operator may change the content of the Service or terminate its provision without prior notice.
10. Disclaimer
The Service is provided as-is. The operator shall not be liable for any damages arising from the use of the Service, except in cases of intentional misconduct or gross negligence.
