I’m low-key upset at how talented he is because I love his voice and his music now. Plus, his lyrics are extremely meaningful I feel so he’s also a good writer. This whole song definitely has the vocaloid feel that I’m more used to where the meanings are really artistic and personal. This one specifically uses a lot of imagery and allusions to acting on a stage. It actually took me 3 days to get through these translyrics because of how much I think the words relied on feelings. Plus, the song was so much faster than I anticipated it would be as you can probably tell so I had to write lines that I could sing fast too. I would say this one has earned its spot among the harder songs I’ve done in the past, easily. The amount of words, the speed, the complicated meanings, the fact that I accidentally recorded everything on my laptop mic and then had to re-record at 4 AM. Oh and the key. Oh god that key. I had to jump down the octave for the chorus because there literally was no other way to do this without keying the instrumental into oblivion. So I stuck to -2 semitones and just flipped during the chorus because I’m so tired. Sorry. Well I could go on and on about the problems I had but I’m glad it’s finished now. I kinda wish I had more time with it but oh well!
