# 403's Comments / From 403 This is 403, Thank you very much for your help. I know it's a little late for that, but we're pleased to announce the first official video for the 20th anniversary of the 403 project, "Southern Cross". For a long time now, many fans have been asking us why the 403 doesn't upload their songs to YouTube as official videos. I've been asked to do this for a long time, but I'd like to take this opportunity to reveal some of my work to the public, so please help me out! This time, the 403 member (now 36 years old) was illustrated by Mi-ya-san, the creator of the famous Flash animation "Nightmare City" (https://twitter.com/miyasuke1)! The backdrop is also sacred to Nightmare City, so if you know about it, you'll be impressed. I actually released Southern Cross in September 2003. That means it was 17 years ago. So I wanted to release it this month, so I made it (or got it done) in time. I'm very proud of the fact that this song was used in various works such as "Ugo Memo", "BouNingen" and New Year's Day 2019 that made its terrestrial wave debut on NHK, and it's been listened to by many people over the past 17 years. As an author, I'm really happy for you. I have nothing but gratitude. By the way, at the time of publication (403 @ 19 years old), here's what I had to say about it ------ The theme of the lyrics is the same as in 'Northern Lights', which is also about living, but this time there is a different theme. When I was writing the lyrics, I was in the summer or fall of my third year of high school, just before the examinations. So everyone who heard it said, "Let's go for it!
