【楽曲情報】
青森県弘前市のダンス＆ボーカルユニット「RINGO MUSUME（りんご娘）」が18枚目のシングルとして2018年4月3日にリリース。

この作品は、日本人にとって、心の花である「桜」を題材にしており、りんご娘の地元にある弘前公園の桜は樹齢100年を超える 樹も多く、桜守（さくらもり）たちの長年の技術と思いが、美しく咲き誇る桜を支えてい ます。青森の厳しい寒さを耐え、毎年見事な花を咲かせる桜と、限りある私たち人間の一生涯を対比させ、桜のように力強く生きたいという“死生観”をテーマに作り上げました。

「弘前さくらまつり」は2020年で100回目を迎えます。人生100年と言われている今、あと一年、さらに一年と、大切な人と一緒にいられることの幸せを願い、そして、生きているからこそ愛する人と「地球上の自然美である”日本の桜”を観に来てほしい」というメッセージを全世界のみなさんに送ります。
